The Story of Bold Lady-Sushma Swaraj

Sushma Swaraj

Sushma Swaraj was born on February 14, 1952.
She was Bharatiya Janata Party leader and the minister of external affairs of India. Her father was a prominent RSS member. At the age of 25, she became the country’s youngest Cabinet minister in Haryana government and has also served as chief minister of Delhi.
She was graduated at S. D. College, Ambala Cantonment and opted BA degree with majors in Sanskrit and Political Science.
Sushma swaraj who also studied LL.B. at Punjab University in Chandigarh and practiced as a Supreme Court advocate from 1973.
Her political career was started with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in the 1970s.
This remarkable leader has been elected six times into the Lok Sabha and three times as MLA.
After holding various portfolios in the Union Cabinet, she has also been  minister for Information and Broadcasting during the 13-day Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government in 1996.
Sushma Swaraj was former union minister as well.
She got elected from Vidisha Lok Sabha constituency in Madhya Pradesh in 2014.
She achieved many things and her life and was truthful to her duties at every point of her life.
Coming to her family she was married to swaraj kaushal . After marriage she had a one daughter bansuri swaraj.
Swaraj kaushal had been closely associated with a reknown socialist leader George Fernandes when sushma swaraj became a part of George’s legal defence team in 1975.
Sushma swaraj had active participation in Jayaprakash Narayan’s Total revolution Movement. She joined Bharatiya Janata Party after the emergency and became the national leader of BJP.
She died from cardiac arrest at the age of 67 on 6 August 2019.
She was the first full time woman foregion minister.
She will be remembered fondly for everything that she has done for india.
